I finally created my first "cyberdeck".

It is basically just a 3D-printed case that holds my phone and a few essential electronics. It is going to be really useful at events.

In a Hotel Room in Lego City

The gun, drugs, ashtray and the bottle are all made out of Lego.

The gun is modeled after a Glock 17 and is loosely based on the design of MyDifferentUserName, although the interior is radically different and much more solid, at a cost of a minor bit of realism.

Ashtray

All "ash" in the ashtray are attached, so you can't spill any ash. I actually think it looks very good. I had various people do a double-take when seeing it for the first time.

Pills

The pills are just Lego 1x1 cylinders in a small baggy.

Cocaine

The "cocaine" is just a makeup mirror and some white Lego bricks.

Bottle

The bottle is just the bottle from 21313-1: Ship in a Bottle. Vimja lent that to me.

I created a new profile picture for myself. I took a lot of inspiration from cyberpunk art. Especially this one by Rafael Moco. which is itself a recreation of the Brazilian cover of Neuromancer by Josan Gonzales. I even have the pointless Band-Aid.

There is something quite perverse about using Braille Unicode characters (⠠⠃⠗⠁⠊⠇⠇⠑), a writing system for visually impaired people, to display regular, Latin letters. That's why I wrote a converter for it.

This program is written in JavaScript and is also available as a CLI application using Node.Js. Visit the Repository.

The characters are based on the Tiny and Tinier Fonts by Matthew Welch; Two fonts that I enjoy very much.

I don't collect any information entered into this form.

Cava on Termux
